Ever heard somebody use the term "digits",while playing a STEAM game?
This article will explain what "digits" mean and how to find out how many "digits" you have.
Every STEAM account is associated with a number called it's "Steam Id." The first person to make a STEAM account's ID was 0:0:1, The 2nd person was 0:1:2 , the 2300th person was 0:0:2300 and so on.
Your Digits are the amount of numbers that are after the 2nd colon.
Say your ID is 0:0:2492, that means you have a "4 Digit"
Or if your ID is 0:1:20183453 you have a "8 Digit"
FAQ's About digits
Q:Why do Digits matter?
A: Digits do not really matter, but to some players digits show how much experience you have. Since the older you account is, the lower the digits, if you have a low digit account you've probably played longer than somebody with a high digit account.
Q:Will my digit ever change?
A:No it will not. Your Steam ID will stay the same, unless you make a new account, in which you will obtain a higher ID.
Q:Is there anyway you get a lower digit account.
A:Yes, can buy an account from someone who has a low digit. BUT I do not recommend this, since this goes against STEAM's rules, and you could get scammed. Also, don't worry about the amount of digits you have, they really do not mean anything.
