Last season CAL started copying the same rules as CEVO. This season is no different.

Season 11 Information

Welcome back for season 11 of CAL Open. There are a few major changes happening this season that need to be taken note of:

Major Changes This Season:

* No more Screenshot rounds! -- You are no longer required to have a screenshot round of the models and smokes. You are still required to take RCON/Console STATUS, and end of both half scoreboards, record your demos, as well as login to ACS prior to starting your game. While the leader is technically responsible for this, it would be a good idea for ALL OF THE TEAM to take these screenshots incase something happens. People lose screenshots, "reformat", "get a virus", or "sister deleted them", so yea, it would be a great idea for the entire team to take them just to be safe!
* Your WILL be required to upload Three (3) screenshots when reporting your winning score. You need your RCON status (console status if the match was hosted away) and both half ending scoreboard screenshots to report the score. You are still required to retain your screenshots until after playoffs to be collected for playoff/moveup reasons, so do not get rid of them early!
* New CAL v2.0 Configs for this season. Now available in the "files" section on the right. There are no gameplay changes, just a few added cvars, removal of some tv_ cvars, and addition of 3 new files (list of cvars to add to your server.cfg, an example server.cfg, and a stv.cfg) details of all these can be found in the readme. Please update your servers prior to the first preseason match. The new live on 3 is "lo3cal.cfg".
* Automatic scheduling of your makeup matches/FFW's. I will be attempting to automatically schedule you a makeup match the following week after getting a forfeit win. You will receive your regular weeks schedule late Thursday evening, and if you had a Forfeit win the week before, you will receive your makeup match schedule late Friday evening. Both your regular week AND previous week makeup match will need to be played and completed by the following Wednesday as usual. A default day for makeup matches has not been established yet, but it will be either Sunday or Wednesday (also the last day to play it), but as of now, its looking like Sunday. More information will be announced when this is finalized.

Teams without 5 rostered members by Thursday 5/8 9:59pm CST will not be scheduled a first round preseason match. Teams without 5 rostered members by Monday 5/12 9:59pm CST will not be scheduled a second round preseason match. This does not mean you cannot play regular season.

The DEADLINE for creating teams is Wednesday 5/14 11:59pm CST. (Rosters will still be unlocked to join)

Teams without 5 rostered players by Thursday 5/15 11:59pm CST will be deleted and not participate in Season 11.

Rosters will LOCK for joining existing teams on Saturday 5/17 11:59pm CST.

For the remainder of the season rosters will lock for joining teams from Sunday 12:01am CST through Wednesday 11:59pm CST and will unlock from Thursday 12:01am CST through Saturday 11:59pm CST.
